Welcome

My name is Adam Mitchell. I am what is colloquially referred to as a “Devsigner”, that is a Graphic Artist and a Web Developer all rolled into one package of goodness. I bring with me the creativeness and knowledge of a designer, and the understanding of what does and doesn’t work for a live website. Everything you see (And the code you don’t see) was written, drawn, painted, assembled, and coded by me. I hope you enjoy all of the examples I have placed ahead of you, including the example that is this site.

Logo Design

Puckerfist TV

Puckerfist TV is a Twitch.tv streaming channel. The logo is used as a profile picture, and as part of other graphics related to it's profile.

This is the image that appears when you visit the Puckerfist TV channel while stream is offline.

KTM Home Improvement is a small home improvement business based out of Tolland CT. This logo was designed to be on business cards and on magnetic signs.

GrandpaFlipfox is a Twitch.tv streamer and a YouTube Channel. This logo serves as a profile picture both on Twitch and on YouTube, with variations of it being used for banners and other graphics.

OCBCF is an upcoming online published comic book. This logo is primarily used as the main logo for the comic covers.

This is the portfolio for Darcy Stall, a wonderful artist and art teacher based out of Western Massachusetts.

About Me

I’m a young but well seasoned artist and developer working out of the great state of connecticut. I'm always learning new concepts and techniques, and always evolving my abilities. I study styles and trends very closely, always looking for new aesthetics to play with, and new / better ways to create a website. I'm someone who always looks forward to solving new challenges, using a lot of hard work and perhaps even a bit of innovation.

I am first and foremost an artist. I like to hand draw my graphics when possible in Photoshop using a Cintiq drawing tablet. I have 14 years of experience with Photoshop, as well as several years experience with the other members of the Adobe Creative Suite (Like Adobe Illustrator and InDesign).

When it comes to Web Development, I take my creative designing abilities and apply them in a practical manner to my skills as a developer. That means I know how to rein myself in and not have an over developed site. I believe in function over form, but that form should never be forgotten. I have an expert understanding of HTML5/CSS3, Javascript/jQuery, PHP and MySQL(Though I use MariaDB), and Wordpress as a CMS.
